Renmin University of China Law School

Founded in 1950 and located in Beijing, Renmin University of China (RUC) remains best known for excellence in the humanities and social sciences. Renmin Law School stands as one of RUC's most acclaimed schools. After its founding in 1950, Renmin Law School became the first institution of higher legal education in the People's Republic of China. Hence, Renmin Law School has not only become a "cradle" that nurtures China's most outstanding jurists, but also a platform that gathers legal scholars together and encourages intellectual exchange.

University of International Business and Economics School of Law

UIBE Law School is a place to educate high-quality legal talents, produce top-notch legal scholarship, and support practical innovation in legal community. Originating in 1978 from a teaching group spearheaded by Prof. SHEN Daming and FENG Datong, UIBE Law School has maintained a record of academic excellence and of influence on practice in the area of international business law. It was also in 1978, that the first group of Master of Law students was enrolled at UIBE, majoring in international business law. In 1984, the UIBE established the Department of International Economic Law, making itself one of China's first four institutions in 1980s that had been permitted by the Ministry of Education to enroll Ph.D. students in International Economic Law. Later in early 1996, to meet China's increasing demand for the talents in international law, UIBE founded the Law School on the basis of then Department of International Economic Law. Thus far, UIBE Law School has experienced over three decades of development and well established itself as the leader of China's advanced legal education in international economic law.
